Horse Thief

Psych-influenced indie rock quintet Equine Thief originally shaped in Denton, Tx in 2006. The bandmembers relocated to Oklahoma Town this year 2010 to wait the Academy of Modern Music on the School of Central Oklahoma, and through the summer months before their initial school calendar year, they took an innovative trip to Creede, Colorado. While focusing on music there, they found the name Equine Thief on the map of regional hiking paths and sensed the name linked well using their make of sprawling psych-Americana. Led by vocalist/guitarist Cameron Neal, along with guitarist Alex Coleman, keyboardist Zach Zeller, bassist Cody Fowler, and drummer Alberto Roubert, Equine Thief released their debut EP, Grow Deep, Grow Outrageous, in early 2011 and had been eventually agreed upon to United kingdom indie Bella Union, where they truly became labelmates with among their major affects, the Flaming Lip area. Grow Deep, Grow Crazy was re-released by Bella Union in 2013 and their initial full-length album, Dread in Bliss, implemented in 2014. Made over an extended year-and-a-half of touring, their second LP, Studies & Truths, was, based on the bandmembers, very much nearer to the audio they wanted. Acquiring the impact of groupings like Sparklehorse and Flaming Lip area but fine-tuning it with reflective jangle, the record appeared early in 2017, preceded with the single “Another Youngsters.”
