Hard Rain

This UK band was formed in 1996 by singer Bob Catley (b. 11 Sept 1947, Aldershot, Hampshire, Britain) and guitarist and songwriter Tony Clarkin who was simply people of Birmingham-based Magnum, a music group they shaped in 1972. In Hard Rainfall they were became a member of by Paul Hodson (keyboards), Al Barrow (bass), Rob Barrow (drums) and Sue McCloskey (vocals). Musically, Hard Rainfall was, like Magnum, a melodic music group and it dropped somewhere for the shadowed sides of hard rock and roll and rock. Much like Magnum, lots of the tracks the band performed had been Clarkin’s compositions and appealed highly to enthusiasts of the sooner band. Concurrent along with his function in Hard Rainfall, Catley had an effective single career. Fascination with the band steadily waned although that they had constructed a following, generally away from Magnum devotees. A few of these enthusiasts saw the music group being a continuation from the custom if within a relatively more commercial type. The mix of Catley’s single career along with a resurgence appealing in Magnum resulted in a revival of this music group and by the first 00s Hard Rainfall had faded.
