Happiness Factor

Playing hard-edged force pop using the energy and bitter wit of such classic fresh wave works as Elvis Costello, the Jam, as well as the Damned (but using a 21st hundred years sense of rate and precision), the Happiness Matter are primarily the brainchild of Salim Nourallah, the pop-obsessive singer/songwriter who initial gained fame using the somewhat more mild-mannered Nourallah Brothers. With bassist and vocalist Nourallah became a member of by guitarists Paul Averitt and Steve Duncan and drummer John Jay Myers, the Pleasure Aspect released their debut record, Self-Improvement?, in 2001 on the summertime Break label. In 2003, Nourallah, Averitt, and Duncan proceeded to go into Nourallah’s Pleasantry Street Studios with a small number of guest music artists to record their second full-length, Avoid Risk, that was released the next calendar year by Paisley Pop.
