Man Pastor was among 3 sons of dance music group head, saxophonist and singer Tony Pastor. This triumvirate–also including Tony Pastor, Jr. and John Pastor — had been all involved with their father’s music sometimes, a mainstay on the brand new York big music group scene and finally a haven for nostalgia seekers.
