Chancha Via Circuito

Chancha Vía Circuito can be an alias of cumbia digital maker Pedro Canale, who’s associated with the Argentine dance golf club Zizek and its own offshoot label, ZZK Information. Influenced by different varieties of cumbia — Columbian cumbia, Mexican cumbia sonidera, Argentine cumbia villera — aswell as reggae and electronica, Canale produced his documenting debut in 2007 using the self-released Kumbias Gauchito EP. In 2008 he released the Rodante EP on ZZK Information, the offshoot label from the Buenos Aires dance golf club Zizek, where he manages the item booth. Also in 2008, he toured THE UNITED STATES within a Zikek troupe also offering Villa Diamante, Fauna, and Bersa Discos.
