Grum

Grum is a Scottish electro manufacturer from Leeds, Britain, who all emerged to considerable fanfare in ’09 2009 using the productions “Runaway” and “Heartbeats” and a couple of remixes. Blessed Graeme Shepherd in Edinburgh, Scotland, he cites affects in the ’80s (Giorgio Moroder, the Individual League, New Purchase) as well as the modern electro-pop moments (Cut Duplicate, Daft Punk, Surroundings), plus French home (Les Rythmes Digitales) and Italo disco (Kano). Grum released many remixes in 2008, nonetheless it wasn’t until 2009 that he initial produced a name for himself over the electro picture using a few productions of his very own: “Runaway,” “Sound Response,” and “Heartbeats.” Released over the Glasgow label Heartbeats Information, these monitors got airplay from a number of the best radio DJs in britain, including Radio 1 present hosts Zane Lowe, Annie Macintosh, Rob da Loan provider, and Jaymo & Andy George.
