After spending quite a few years fronting the Minneapolis-based Cinematographile and Fan Modine, singer/guitarist Gordon Zacharias shifted to start out his solo job in 1999 along with his debut full-length Gradual Street to Tiny Empire. Comprising electro-acoustic experimentation of pop which has been critically in comparison to Prince interacting with Cole Porter, Grimsey Information released his second record using the Enthusiast Modine moniker, Homeland, the next year.
