Girl on Fire

Combining components of contemporary metalcore and djent with an increase of pop-oriented rock and roll sounds of days gone by, Girl burning were shaped in Seattle, Washington in 2007 by vocalist Austin Held, guitarist Nick McMahon, and percussionist Harry MacDonald, who met while these were operating at the same clothes shop. After a couple of months of jamming collectively, the trio became a quartet if they had been released to bassist Josh Mouser. After a few months of having to pay their dues with membership schedules in the Pacific Northwest, Young lady on Fire started producing a name for themselves if they won an area competition for unsigned rings sponsored by Ernie Ball, and arrived a spot for the Seattle time from the Vans Warped Tour. In ’09 2009, Girl burning recorded some materials with manufacturer WiL Francis, which brought these to the interest from the record label and advertising outfit Hollywood Waste materials, and in 2011, the label agreed upon them to an archive offer. An EP made by Francis, Revenge, premiered in Sept 2011, as well as the music group hit the street for the initial in some nationwide tours. Young lady on Fire shortly added another guitarist because of their concert events, Nicholas Wiggins, previously with the music group Aiden; in July 2013, Wiggins became a complete person in the group, and some months afterwards, they lowered their initial full-length album, Not really Broken. The record was made by Jay Baumgardner, and premiered by Hundred years Mass media, Hollywood Waste’s label partner.
