Get Scared

As very much a contact to arms since it is a moniker, Layton, Utah’s Get Scared put a gothic spin about post-hardcore. Created in 2008 by vocalist Nicholas Matthews, guitarists Johnny Braddock and Bradley “Lloyd” Iverson, and drummer Warren Wilcock (changed by Dan Juarez in ’09 2009), the quartet come up with the band using the purpose of pressing themselves out of their musical comfort and ease zones, growing their songwriting to fresh places in order to develop artistically. The effect is a variety of gothic/horror imagery and traveling post-hardcore/metalcore, adding a dark touch towards the their traveling, emotional sound. Obtain Scared authorized to Common Motown and in 2011 produced their full-length debut with Greatest Kind of Clutter. An EP, Constructed For Blame, Laced With Pity, found its way to 2012, adopted in 2013 from the band’s sophomore lengthy participant Everyone’s Out to Obtain Me, their 1st outing for Fearless Information. In 2012 the music group released their third full-length LP, Demons, once again via Fearless.
