b. 4 June 1940, Hungary, d. 11 January 2002. Jinda started playing piano at age six but four years later on turned to drums. In 1966, he relocated to America, producing his foundation thereafter in NY. In 1982, Jinda shaped the music group Unique EFX with guitarist Chieli Minucci. This became very popular due to a succession of albums for GRP Information. Minucci shifted in 1995 but Jinda continuing utilizing the same music group name for some time. In 1992, Jinda got performed gigs in Tokyo, Japan fleetingly but happily [distributed] the stage with Kilometers Davis. Also in the first 90s he produced some return appointments to his homeland, including an appearance in the Globe Music Event in Budapest of which he was teamed with fellow percussionist Mino Cinelu. Over time, Jinda caused many mentioned jazz music artists, as sideman, co-leader and innovator, including a mid-90s cooperation with Bobby Watson. His personal mid-90s music group included Tag Johnson, Ed Hamilton, Scott Dark brown (keyboards), Kirk Lyons (bass), Mobility scooter Warner (drums). One of the drummers who affected Jinda had been Tony Williams, his idol, and Jack port DeJohnette, and he also indicated admiration for Omar Hakim, Dennis Chambers, Dave Weckl and Rodney Holmes. Undoubtedly, like a percussionist, his musical affects range over African and South American forms. The second option became especially obvious along with his GRP albums (detailed under Unique EFX) which discovered him playing inside a smooth rock setting, pleasingly tinged with Latin, folk and globe music affects. As time approved, nevertheless, Jinda’s musical inclinations, which discovered him leaving digital drumming to a far more orthodox style, offered the music group a relatively different audio. Although untrained being a composer, Jinda also composed primary music for his several groupings. In 1997, Jinda experienced a serious asthma strike that triggered a myoclonic disorder which still left him paralysed. He passed away in January 2002.
