Biography
Perhaps one of the most forward-looking manufacturers within the Chicago home renaissance from the 1990s, Spencer Kincy, referred to as Gemini, recorded early singles and EPs for his hometown’s Cajual and Comfort but afterwards issued paths on such wide-ranging imprints seeing that Globe E, Disko B, Peacefrog, Length, and NRK. He also co-founded the Assistance label. Kincy started recording early within the 10 years, and gained popularity for the minimalist taste of twelves like Imagine a Country and Hidden Plan/Tangled Thoughts. The manufacturer debuted his record function in 1997 with two nearly concurrent LPs, In and From the Fog and Lighting and Imagine-A-Nation. His third full-length, In Natural, was released prior to the end of the entire year, showing him to become not that. A 4th record, The Music Hall, was released by Cyclo in 1999. He eventually still left music, though a spate of reissues to enter the market in the next decades.
