Roots-rockers the Gathering Field formed in Pittsburgh, Pa in 1994. Led by vocalist/guitarist Expenses Deasy, the music group, which also included guitarist Dave Dark brown, bassist Eric Riebling and drummer Ray DeFade, released its debut LP Shed in America independently impartial label Mudpuppy. The name monitor became a smash on regional radio, and in 1996 a remastered release of the recording premiered on Atlantic Information. Reliance adopted in 1999.
