Alternative metallic band Upcoming Leaders of the World was led by singer/guitarist Phil Taylor, a Buffalo indigenous who relocated to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA after senior high school. In a Puddle of Mudd gig, he befriended Mike Flynn, who later serve because the group’s supervisor and financed Taylor’s initial three-song demonstration tape. Upon time for Buffalo, Taylor shaped the very first incarnation of Potential Market leaders of the Globe with bassist Toby Cole and drummer Carl Messina.
