Futique

Another pseudonym for the task of Taylor Deupree (aka Taylor 808) and Savvas Ysatis (aka Omicron) — that’s, besides S.E.T.We.. and Arc — Futique make the alias rather required, because the duo’s materials is surprisingly not the same as their normal glut of sparse atmosphere. Hip-hop beatboxes and Crooklyn dub make performances alongside the jazzy rhythms on Futique’s debut, Luv Luv (documented, as generally, for the Instinct label). Mr. So & So implemented in 1996, and Move Low appeared 3 years later.
