Frumpies

Grrrl-punk supergroup the Frumpies was shaped in Olympia, WA in 1992 by singers/guitarists Tobi Vail, Kathi Wilcox and Billy Karren, who together also joined up with forces within the now-legendary Bikini Get rid of; Bratmobile drummer Molly Neuman finished the initial lineup, which debuted using the Chainsaw label seven-inch Alien Summer season Nights. Infants and Bunnies made an appearance in 1993, with long term Make-Up guitarist Michelle Mae putting your signature on on long plenty of to record TOMMY sLiCh. Following a two-year hiatus, the Frumpies reunited in 1996, quickly recording Eunuch Evenings; the Compact disc collection Frumpie One Piece put together all the band’s earlier singles.
