Frank Jackson

Frequently performing in cathedrals simply by candlelight, Frank Jackson plays a fascinating selection of recorders and flutes in a fresh age ensemble led simply by composer and keyboardist Lydia McCauley. Created in Seattle and carrying on to based from the Pacific Northwest, McCauley combines a history in traditional music with intensive study in both Celtic and Appalachian music. McCauley’s spouse, Kurt Scherer, spent some time working with her like a co-producer on recordings like the 2002 Beauty of the planet earth, which Jackson can be presented on recorders, cent whistle, and Irish flute. Additional people of McCauley’s ensemble, who tour frequently in america and Canada, consist of Phil Heaven on viola and doumbek, guitarist Brian Cunningham, and percussionist Jason Darling. For the 2003 launch entitled Moon of Wintertime, Jackson’s efforts expanded to add both instrumental and choral preparations.
