Aggressive indie rock/electro duo Fang & Darling, who hail from Berlin, forgo songs on the subject of love and loss and instead tread the line between existentialism and raging party music. With affects ranging from Elegance Jones to Neu! with their idols the standard, Fang Krow (the domineering woman tone of voice of the group) and Darling Schnauzer (the pouty man shouter) helped to define the electro-punk picture with their particular lo-fi undertake the genre, including screaming in damaged British through hand-built phone microphones, and much using distortion.
