Beth Whitney

Beth Whitney is a singer/songwriter located in the Pacific Northwest whose music reflects the influence of traditional folk-rock acts from the 1970s aswell her modern peers in acoustic music. Whitney comes from Snohomish, WA, where she used guitar at age group 16 after she was released to the device during a chapel assistance. As Whitney trained herself to try out, she developed an enthusiastic passion for songwriting, and continuing to focus on her music after graduating senior high school and shifting to university. Whitney examined at Whitworth School, a Presbyterian-affiliated college in Spokane, WA, and there she fulfilled a fellow pupil and musician, upright bassist Aaron Fishburn, in 2004. Whitney and Fishburn discovered their specific musical designs complemented each other, and they started playing being a duo at locations through the entire Pacific Northwest, gradually building a pursuing. Whitney’s music discovered an appreciative hearing at Malamute Information, an unbiased music company located in Seattle, and Whitney and Fishburn released their debut record, Leave Your Sneakers, through the label in 2007.
