Fabrizio Bosso

Italian post-bop trumpet sensation Fabrizio Bosso was created in Turin in 1973. He began playing at age five, learning under his dad. The youthful prodigy graduated in the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Turin just ten years afterwards at fifteen. Whilst in school Bosso uncovered jazz, using a big music group and in little combos. Upon graduating he was honored a scholarship to review at St. Mary’s University in Washington, where he continuing to go after his new like of improvisation. Beginning in 1993, he garnered a nationwide popularity for his perfect technique and extremely personal audio, touring under bandleaders like George Russell, Dave Liebman, and the fantastic Steve Coleman. Another year he gained Summertime Jazz’s Greatest Band along with his quintet, who have been soon to create their documenting debut. At age 26, Bosso’s initial album being a bandleader, Fast Air travel, arrived on Red Information. Impressing critics world-wide, Bosso gained the “Miglior Nuovo Talento” (Greatest New Talent) prize, chosen within a survey with the Musica Jazz newspaper. His second outing as frontman will be for the Blue Take note label in 2007.
