Evans Blue

Toronto contemporary hard rock and roll quintet Evans Blue came collectively around 2003 following its members found one another by chance through an area musician’s forum. Made up of vocalist Matisyn, guitarists Parker Lauzon and Vlad Tanaskovic, bassist Joe Pitter, and drummer Darryl Dark brown, the group authorized with Pocket Recordings in 2005, getting into Pocket Studios with Trevor Kustiak (Great for August) immediately after. The effect was their debut, The Melody as well as the Energetic Character of Quantity, jointly released in Feb 2006 by Pocket and Hollywood Information. A springtime tour assisting Taproot followed, where Dark brown left unannounced, to become later changed by Davis Howard. In July 2007 the band’s second recording, The Pursuit Starts When This Portrayal of Existence Ends, hit racks. The group’s eponymous third recording, which was the first ever to feature fresh vocalist Dan Chandler, premiered in ’09 2009. The band’s 4th studio room outing, Graveyard of Empires, adopted in 2012.
