Neo-psychedelic folk trio the Espers began appearing in the Philadelphia area in early 2002. Using a core supplied by vocalist/songwriter Greg Weeks, Meg Baird, and Brooke Sietinsons and curved out by many collaborators, their heady mixture of chamber rock and roll, baroque pop, and past due-’60s Uk folk received them a little but devoted pursuing both locally and nationally. Their intoxicating self-titled debut found its way to 2004 around the Locust label. The EP Weed Tree, a assortment of addresses, traditional items, and originals, found its way to 2005, adopted in 2006 from the full-length II.
