Entrain

This jam band from Martha’s Vineyard was formed by drummer Tom Main in 1993. Various other personnel consist of guitarist/business lead vocalist Brian Alex; conga, djembe, and trombone participant Sam Holmstock; bassist Ned “Towering Inferno” Nugent; conga participant Hilary Noble; and Klem Klimek over the saxophone. This multifaceted ensemble unites to create music that melds several designs, from funk to klezmer, developing a kind of cultural and musicological soup onstage. Entrain gets to across more styles than most jam rings, but still have the ability to come with an improvisational quality with their music. Their live display is what actually shines, however they possess released many albums, including Can U OBTAIN IT, NO REAL MATTER WHAT, and 2000’s All One.
