Barrett Strong discovered Eliza (aka Eliza Thomasian) and signed her to his Blarritt record label in Southfield, MI. The previous Motown vocalist/songwriter works as a coach for the powerful singer and both collaborate on materials. Soulful vocalist Eliza is well known through the entire Midwest on her behalf passionate delivery and kicking seven-piece music group. The team features Eliza (vocals, keyboards), Brian Lord (acoustic guitar, harmonica, vocals), Scott Poquette (acoustic guitar), Sonya Mastick (percussion), Jerome Day time (drums), David Mastic (bass), and Michelle Thomasian (support vocals). She’s documented two critically acclaimed CDs for Blarritt: the self-titled Eliza and I’m Waiting around.
