Electric Hellfire Club

The Electric powered Hellfire Club’s eclectic, satanic, psychedelic music debuted in 1994 using the release of their first album, Burn off Baby Burn off, the EP Satan’s Small Helper, and appearances on the string of compilations, including Mysterious Encounters and Industrial Trend, Vol. 2. The next 12 months, they released Kiss the Goat and toured thoroughly with Type O Harmful, the Genitorturers, and fellow Cleopatra Information performers Spahn Ranch. Early in 1996, keyboardist Shane Lassen (aka the Rev. Dr. Luv) was wiped out in an car accident; however, all of those other group persevered and devoted that year’s Contacting Dr. Luv to him. After even more touring plus some lineup shifts, the Electric powered Hellfire Membership released 1998’s Unholy Roller, that was accompanied by Empathy for the Devil in 1999. See the Millennium made an appearance a year afterwards.
