Eddie Higgins

A good bop-based pianist, Eddie Higgins hasn’t become a main name, but he continues to be well-respected by his fellow music artists for many years. After we were young in New Britain, he relocated to Chicago, where he performed in all forms of circumstances before settling directly into an extended stint because the leader of the home trio in the London Home (1957-1969). Higgins relocated back again to Massachusetts in 1970 and continued to freelance, frequently associated his wife, vocalist Meredith D’Ambrosio, and showing up at jazz celebrations and celebrations.
