Dreadnaught

Created in Tasmania before relocating towards the Australian mainland, five-piece Dreadnaught lurched into actions in 1992, carrying out their first displays in past due 1994. They started shopping their Blossoms demo the next year, but finished up self-releasing both 1996’s Body, Bloodstream, Skin, Mind recording and 1998’s Idiosincrasy EP before getting a house at Aussie indie Dark Carnival. Having a lineup offering vocalist Greg Trull, guitarists Richie Poate and Damon Alcock, bassist Andy Livingston-Squires, and drummer Aaren Suttil, the music group acquired a little, but loyal pursuing because of their bottom-heavy alternative metallic and fearsome concert events. Though released domestically in 1999, their following full-length Right down to No was just released stateside 2 yrs later from the Music Cartel, where time the music group had already implemented it with another Down Under-only EP entitled One Piece Missing (oddly enough, having a cover from the Thin Lizzy chestnut “Cool Sweat”).
