Doris Akers

b. 1923, Missouri, USA, d. 26 July 1995, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Akers’ most effective period arrived after she relocated to LA, California, USA. Because the creator and leader from the Sky Pilot Choir, she was the pioneer of what became referred to as the Doris Akers/Sky Pilot Audio, discussing her distinctive design of directing and set up that was consequently very much imitated.
