Ditch Croaker played the type of muddy, noisy rock and roll which has brought popularity to numerous other bands using their hometown of Hoboken, NJ. The trio, comprising Tim Newman on vocals and acoustic guitar, Tim Floyd on bass, vocals and keyboards, and Tim Barnes on drums, vocal and percussion, shaped in 1992 and released their 1st album, Chimpfactor, independently label, Good Corinthian in 1995. Their main label debut, Secrets from the Mule adopted on Reprise in 1997, soon after they self-published another recording, Shortwave. The music group held its DIY visual and did a whole lot of function to maintain high standards when confronted with corporate and business control, including issuing the lp edition of Secrets from the Mule themselves in order that they could control the product quality and the product packaging. Vital Cog released their next launch, Tranquil Waters, in 1999, which demonstrated off a lot more experimentation than earlier recordings, coupled with older songwriting.
