Like Tenacious D and Metal Panther, Diamondsnake lovingly satirize the bombast of ‘80s locks steel. Phil Costello (comical frontman of Satanicide, Kids from the Unicorn, and Bee Gees steel tribute music group Tragedy) installed with Moby in the wintertime of 2010, as well as the absurd vocalist as well as the digital music icon produced plans to start out a new task together. After documenting several dozen demos in Moby’s Manhattan studio room, Diamondsnake were delivered. Costello’s bandmate in Valley Lodge, bassist Dave Hill, was asked to become listed on the music group, along with Audio of Urchin drummer Tomato. In Apr of 2010, the four documented their debut record during the period of 1 day with engineer Scott Norton in Brooklyn’s Headgear Studios, with discharge plans for this summer.
