Dead Meat

Merging the thudding influence from the heavy branch of ’80s and ’90s alternative rock and roll using a swampy, brooding, melodic undertow, Dead Meat certainly are a powerful three-piece who squandered little time producing a reputation for themselves after establishing shop in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA. Deceased Meat was produced in Gainsville, FL by Adam Santarpia and Adam McNeal, who previously performed jointly in the music group Hearts Over Rome. In 2008, Santarpia and McNeal, who trade off on electric guitar, bass, and vocals, teamed up with drummer Roberto Pagano and started writing materials and playing regional clubs. After in regards to a calendar year, Deceased Meat taken up stakes and transferred to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, and in ’09 2009, they produced their documented debut using the melody “The Ruler,” which made an appearance on an electronic compilation called THEY DON’T REALLY Know IF YOU DON’T Tell Them. This year 2010, the Chicago-based unbiased label Flingco Sound (who released THEY DON’T REALLY Know IF YOU DON’T INFORM THEM) unveiled Inactive Meat’s initial 7″ one, which highlighted their THEY DON’T REALLY Know monitor along with two various other songs, “Electric powered Head” and “Silicone Snake.” Over the single’s sleeve, aswell as over the group’s flyers, Deceased Meat avoided pictures of themselves, rather using the artwork of Kelly Williams, whose evocative but ambiguous pictures gave the music group a visual personal not unlike whatever Raymond Pettibon’s function brought to Dark Flag. After Deceased Meat’s one and their concert events began getting enthusiastic testimonials from West Coastline rock and roll authors, they struck up a camaraderie with fellow Floridians Surfer Bloodstream, and both acts performed a homecoming present together in Western world Palm Seaside. In nov 2010, Flingco Audio released The Ruler + Early Recordings, which highlighted the three music from Deceased Meat’s 7″ along with six music which appeared on the split-cassette discharge with labelmates Poor Dad.
