Day of Fire

It had been after Total Devil Jacket business lead vocalist Josh Dark brown overdosed on heroin in 2000, upon the final outcome from the band’s initial tour, it became crystal clear to him that he had a need to modification his lifestyle or risk loss of life, so rather than completing another Full Devil Coat album Dark brown spent another couple of years trying to completely clean up his lifestyle, finding religion along the way. Though he believed he would under no circumstances enter the music business once again, Brown didn’t end writing tracks, and for this same period, Essential Information, a Christian label, approached Brown and portrayed interest in dealing with him. As the vocalist had no genuine material, initially nothing at all stemmed from these conferences, but it provided Dark brown the impetus to begin with composing music with friend and fellow Jackson, TN, citizen Greg Hionis. Shortly they had more than enough to record Day time of Fire’s self-titled debut, which arrived on Necessary in 2004. In 2006, with guitarist Joe Pangallo, bassist Chris Pangallo, and drummer Zach Simms completing the lineup, the music group released its sophomore recording, Cut and Move.
