David Jahson

b. Everald Pickersgill, 4 November 1954, Kingston, Jamaica, Western Indies. Jahson embarked on his documenting career along with his debut, ‘For I’, which peaked at #7 7 around the JBC graph in Jamaica. His over night success resulted in the discharge of several strikes, including ‘Ruff Throat Soldier’, ‘Provide Thanks And Compliment’ as well as the melancholy ‘People Bawling’. By 1977 he became a member of the line-up from the Well Delighted And Satisfied music group that appreciated a string of strikes during their short profession, including ‘Dark On Dark’, ‘Western world Man Rock and roll’, ‘Information Carrier Dem A Warrior’, ‘Barberman Bawling’ and ‘Open up The Gates’. Following music group’s demise, Jahson reactivated his single career, dealing with brothers Ian and Roger Lewis of Internal Group. The alliance resulted in Jahson’s pivotal strike, ‘Natty Run after The Barber’, which reiterated his acrimonious attitude towards hairdressers. The tune inspired some barber-related music in the past due 70s, including Doctor Alimantado operating the same tempo for ‘I Killed The Barber’. Jahson concurrently accompanied the Internal Circle band on the promotional tour for Everything IS EXCELLENT, where he’s acknowledged as percussionist. He continued to be with the music group beneath the guise of Dark Spy until Jacob Miller’s untimely demise in March 1980, which resulted in the music group’s short-term dissolution. He resolved in the united kingdom through the entire 80s, initially documenting with fellow expatriate Errol Dunkley. Jahson’s sporadic produces include ‘Accurate Believer’, ‘She Loves The Rub A Dub’, ‘Lip area Of Wines’, ‘End Your Gun Capturing’ and ‘Zion House’.
