Dave Brockie

Comedy steel troupe the Dave Brockie Knowledge includes vocalist/bassist Dave Brockie (also an associate of GWAR), guitarist Mike Derks, and drummer Brad Roberts, who endeavored to splice the disparate strains of hard rock and roll and steel with humor. After debuting with 2001’s self-explanatory Diarrhea of the Madman, the group came back two years afterwards with the similarly humorous Music for the incorrect. Brockie continued to spotlight GWAR in the 2000s and 2010s. He passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2014.
