Cormac Kenevey

b. 8 Might 1976, Dublin, Eire. As a kid Kenevey noticed jazz with the record assortment of his pianist dad, a session participant. From age 12, he examined classical clarinet on the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where he used the symphony orchestra. While learning geography and archaeology at school he performed drums and sang in Milestone, a Dublin rock-band, and was movie director and conductor from the School University Dublin (UCD) Concert Band. He expanded his early curiosity about jazz, developing the UCD Jazz Outfit. He worked being a software program consultant however in 2001 became a full-time vocalist. Kenevey, whose affects consist of Mel Tormé, Tag Murphy, Kurt Elling and Al Jarreau, provides toured Eire and the united kingdom, playing night clubs and celebrations. The latter contains Cork Jazz Celebration and the ones at Dubai and Marbella, Spain. Performing a pleasing mixture of criteria, jazz songs plus some of his very own compositions, Kenevey provides attracted favourable interest. Kenevey’s timetable for 2008 included showing up with the town Of Dublin Jazz Orchestra, at Eire’s Electric powered Picnic summer months music festival, along with a tour of Germany.
