The enigmatic noise pop outfit Comet formed in early 1994 in Mesquite, TX. Brought jointly with a common like from the Beatles, vocalist/guitarist Jim Rock, his bassist-brother Neil, guitarist Daniel Huffman, and percussionist Josh inserted the studio afterwards that season to trim their debut one “Family portrait,” made by Mercury Rev alum David Baker. A cope with the Dedicated label implemented, and with Baker once again on the helm, Comet documented their LP bow Chandelier Musings, released in past due 1996.
