Singaporean dance group Club Ecstasy were shaped in 1992 by keyboard player/vocalist Leonard Tan and lead singer Kevin Verghese. Ultimately growing to a trio, they posted many demos to regional r / c before signing using the 3rd party record label, Valentine Music Productions. The group’s debut record, Midi Genetics, blended high adrenaline home music with hip-hop beats and examples, winning them an enormous audience amongst their nation’s even more discerning youthful music fans. The follow-up, the impressively entitled Virtuosos FROM THE Infinite Acid Shower, proved a lot more well-known, attracting strong evaluations from traditional western journalists. Another collection, Golf club E, was advertised via the launch of the cover edition of Andy Gibb’s disco traditional, ‘Shadow Dance’, as its attendant solitary.
