The Chandos Concert Orchestra is a studio ensemble formed in 1991 from the Uk label Chandos to record some discs specialized in selections in the opera and operetta repertoire. The group released around eight discs, including efforts towards the series Treasures from the Opera and Treasures of Operetta. Additional discs have presented Marilyn Hill Smith performing functions by Lehár, Kálmán, and Ivor Novello. Conductors from the orchestra have already been Barry Knight and Stuart Barry.
