The hot jazz, blues, and golf swing from the 1920s, ’30s, and ’40s continues to be taken to Australia with the Melbourne-based Cairo Club Orchestra. Led by trumpet participant and musicologist Peter Milley, the group continues to be focused on recapturing the musical magic of days gone by. Comprised of associates from the American Culture of Twenties Orchestras, the Cairo Membership Orchestra provides striven for authenticity within their sound.
