Bushwhack

Despite their backwoods-evoking moniker, the Connecticut-based quartet referred to as Bushwhack devotes its energies to performing a processed combination of accessible progressive rock and roll and steel. Founded in 2005 by keyboardist Frank Sacramone, drummer Ben Shanbron, and guitarist Jamie vehicle Dyck, Bushwhack later on added bassist Sean McCusker and released an eponymous, notably instrumental debut recording in 2007. This exposed strong affects from famous brands Porcupine Tree, Spock’s Beard, and Desire Theater, which just intensified within the group’s following work, a 2009 EP called Canvas, which noticed Shanbron dealing with lead vocal responsibilities, and vehicle Dyck support vocals.
