Broken Records

Produced in 2006 throughout the talents of Arne Kolb, Ian Turnbull, David Fothergill, Jamie Sutherland, Rory Sutherland, Dave Smith, and Andrew Keeney, the emotionally billed Edinburgh, Scotland-based indie rock and roll outfit Broken Reports have attracted comparisons to everyone in the Arcade Fireplace to Jeff Buckley. Having a musical arsenal which includes guitars, bass, violin, cello, accordion, mandolin, piano, trumpet, glockenspiel, and drums, the soaring septet released its self-titled debut EP in 2007 towards the joy of critics and supporters worldwide. Some singles followed, aswell as notable displays using the Futureheads, Editors, Sons and Daughters, as well as the Twilight Sad, culminating in studio room periods for the band’s initial full-length album, Before Earth Starts to Part, in ’09 2009. The group’s stadium-sized sophomore outing, I WANT TO Come Home, found its way to October of the next year.
