Bobby Atkins

b. Bobby Lee Atkins, 22 Might 1933, Large Shoals, NEW YORK, USA. Atkins’ mom first trained him to try out acoustic guitar but, in his early teenagers, after viewing Don Reno, he transformed to banjo, which includes become his primary instrument. His fascination with bluegrass music grew and in the first 50s, he used several bluegrass rings. Later on in the 10 years, he used the rings of both Expenses and Charlie Monroe. In 1956, he and Joe Rock shaped the Dixie Mountaineers and worked well various r / c and had been regulars on WRVA’sNew Dominican Barn Dance. They ultimately disbanded and Atkins came back to try out with Expenses Monroe until in the first 60s, he shaped his music group the Countrymen and with this device he continued to try out into the fresh millennium. Obviously there were many adjustments of employees and among mentioned band people are Frank Poindexter, Thin Martin and Tony Grain. In newer times the music group has become even more of a family group unit. Many of his sons are talented bluegrass music artists, and his girl Torey frequently sings business lead vocals. Atkins, over time, has documented for various brands and his a friendly relationship with Jim Eanes, with whom he frequently worked, resulted in them documenting two albums collectively.
