Focusing on a kinetic mixture of blackened death steel, heady progressive steel, and blistering metalcore, Reading, Pennsylvania-based death-prog unit Dark Crown Start was shaped in 2012. Comprising Wayne Dorton (vocals), Rik Stelzpflug (acoustic guitar, vocals), Andy Thomas (acoustic guitar, vocals), Nick Shaw (bass), and Jesse Beahler (drums), and sketching inspiration from rings like Between your Buried and Me, Shadows Fall, and early Opeth, aswell as the writings of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, the music group released its debut EP, Music from the Crippled Bull, individually via digital sites in 2013 before inking a cope with eOne because of its 2014 debut long-player, The Wreckage of Superstars, which debuted at amount 18 over the Billboard Heatseekers graph. In Feb 2016, the music group returned towards the studio room with manufacturer Carson Slovak to begin with focus on its sophomore long-player. The causing Selves WE CAN NOT Forgive fell in June of this year.
