Better Off Dead

Part blues component rockabilly, New Jersey’s Better Off Deceased is made up of people VD Ruler (acoustic guitar/vocals), Don Kenny (acoustic guitar), Tim Cassidy (harmonica), Mike Kenny (drums), and Arthur Zo (straight bass). Collectively since 1995, the group got their name from an obscure Expenses Withers solitary and landed a rest whenever a Canadian concert promoter occurred to encounter an early demonstration — getting them a three-night stand in the 1996 Montreal Blues Event. The quintet continuing to play the brand new York tri-state region frequently, and in 1997, they released a self-titled full-length debut (which led to appearances in the NXNE Event in Toronto in 1998 and 1999 and New York’s Blues 2000 event). 2001 noticed the discharge of Better Off Dead’s sophomore work, Girl With employment.
