Besties

A tart, sugary indie pop clothing hailing from NEW YORK, the Besties were formed in the first 2000s by Marisa Bergquist, Kelly Waldrop, and Rikky Walsh. The band’s two feminine associates hail from Florida, where Bergquist and Waldrop — both natives of Anna Maria Isle — were youth friends. Both girls eventually visited university in Tallahassee, where they fulfilled guitarist Walsh. After graduation, Bergquist, Waldrop, and Walsh transferred to NY and produced the Besties, embracing a bubblegummy, punky audio that nodded to serves just like the All Gal Summer Fun Music group and Cub. The quartet’s debut mini-album, Vocalist, premiered by Skipping Rocks Information in 2006. Drummer Frank E. Korn was shortly put into the lineup as well as the music group released its second record, Home Free of charge, in Feb 2009 for brand-new label Hugpatch.
