A left-field house creation duo from the uk, Beckett & Taylor are from the Hands for the Plow label. The duo can be made up of Laszlo Beckett and Steve Taylor. Ahead of teaming up with Beckett, Taylor released the Equine Opera mini-album 3 Cornered Area (1998) on earth Mu label. Beckett & Taylor produced their debut in 2004 with a set of four-song EPs for the upstart label Hands for the Plow. The EPs garnered acclaim, and amongst their enthusiasts, Matthew Herbert got it upon himself release a the duo’s following EP, Let’s Smash Up Our Like (2005), on his Soundslike label. Furthermore to releasing periodic EPs by outside manufacturers on Hand for the Plow, Beckett & Taylor continuing launching EPs of their very own for the label, included in this Employed New Hands (2006), the Beckett single work Plowtrax, Vol. 1 (2007), Globe of Me (2008), and Timber for the Fireplace (2009).
