Bass Drum of Death

Hailing from Oxford, Mississippi, the lo-fi duo Bass Drum of Death help to make bluesy garage rock and roll. On record, the music group is vocalist/guitarist/bassist/drummer John Barrett, who started documenting his rambunctious D.We.Y. rock and roll in 2007. Live, the music group also features drummer Colin Sneed. Bass Drum of Loss of life released the EP Stain Stay Skin on Excess fat Possum in 2008. The full-length debut recording GB City, offering the solitary “Young Benefits,” adopted in 2011. Barrett relocated to Innovative Amusement for the project’s sophomore follow-up, 2013’s Bass Drum of Loss of life.
