A singer/songwriter that has lived in the Philadelphia area her lifetime, Barbara McDonald has cited Joni Mitchell, Carole Ruler and Judy Collins as a few of her primary influences and in addition has expressed admiration for Kate Bush, Sarah McLachlan, Shawn Colvin, Jann Arden and Lisa Cerbone.
