Avenger

This hi-tech thrash metal quartet started in Herne, West Germany. Created in 1984, the music group comprised Peter Wagner (vocals/bass), Thomas Gruning (acoustic guitar), Jochen Schroeder (acoustic guitar) and Jörg Michael (drums). The music group’s debut recording mixed a speed-metal design with intricate Hurry -like bridges and interludes. The tunes were complicated and technically skillful but were disappointed somewhat from the vocals, which lacked both power and range. Following the release from the mini-album Depraved To Dark, they became referred to as Rage and loved vital acclaim throughout European countries.
