Argus

The roots from the musicians behind Franklin, PA’s Argus lie with many defunct doom bands and a temporarily dormant crossover thrash band, yet their sound couldn’t become more metallic in the clearest, most traditional definition from the infinitely splintered genre. First released in 2005, the group documented its first demonstration two years later on and underwent some small personnel adjustments before solidifying about previous Penance vocalist Butch Balich, ex-Abdulla drummer Kevin Latchaw, guitarists Erik Johnson and Jason Mucio, and bassist Andy Ramage — the final pair being users from the amusingly called Oh Shit They will Get rid of Us. This lineup consequently struck a cope with Darkness Kingdom Information and released Argus’ eponymous debut in ’09 2009.
