Anny

Originally from Chicago, flamboyant pop rocker Anny focuses on a method of original music that’s equal parts Joni Mitchell/Tori Amos and Elton John/Freddie Mercury. During her early years, Anny linked to such rock and roll musicals as Jesus Christ Superstar and Locks, as she created her tone of voice by performing along towards the soundtracks. After going to Harvard University or college, Anny relocated to LA, as she pursued her dreams of rock and roll superstardom. Although she started documenting her debut recording, Strange and Gorgeous, in 1996, it didn’t start to see the light of day time until Might of 2001. The primary reason for its hold off was the initial record label that she authorized to, Risk Information, closed down soon after classes began, eventually shifting towards the Uncommon Audio and dealing with maker Craig Snider (Madonna, Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan).
